Dr. Danish is a geriatrics doctor in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Since joining the MALV community in 2010, Dr Danish has been an active supporter of the community’s programs. In addition to being a generous donor, he has served in various capacities on behalf of the community such as:

  • Member of MALV Security team – This was a committee that was created to address some of the security concerns that arose after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, CT in 2012.
  • Constitution Review Committee (CRC).
  • Manarah PTO
  • Active part of the Free clinic program organized at Easton Masjid and plan to have similar program at MALV
  • Major donor to support Khalil Moore’s Salary while he was our Imam
  • Generous donor to the MALV expansion project
  • Board Member of Emerge USA
  • Active volunteer at ICNA programs

In addition to his involvements in the Muslim community, Dr Danish has extensive in leadership and team building. He served as the president of DOGANA (his alumni association of almost 1000 doctors in the USA), despite the diverse nature of the association comprising people from different religious background, Dr Danish successfully led the association while promoting respect, unity and service to the less privileged.
